Write down the delivery address, country, ZIP or postal code, receiving contact, and in-hand date. Note any receiving-hour restrictions or an earlier date for packing and distribution. If the order needs to reach several places, include the quantity for each.

Estimate the quantity by touchpoint.

Think about how the items will be distributed. A one-time event, an ongoing host-stand supply, and a retail launch each need a different estimate. As a simple planning example, one item for each of 100 welcome bags means 100 items before any extras, supplier minimums, or packing constraints are considered.
